Väla Centrum is a shopping mall located in southern Sweden just outside of Helsingborg. Been planing on writing about it for a long time now but have not been able to find anything useful - until now. This is the mall I grew up with. Many many Friday evenings and Saturdays were spent here when I traveled there going shopping with my family as a kid back in the 1980s and early 1990s.
Since many of you have requested my previous two volumes of "Space Age Lounge", I have decided to share them with you here. First off is volume 2, which is called Red Carpet Ride. It is a tribute to the swank Hollywood premieres and jet set lifestyle of the 1960s. The music is mostly soft and easy going with lots of strings, vibes and flutes. The compilation features (as always) 24 lush tracks and clocks in at about 60 minutes. Enjoy and be sure to comment if you like it!
I will resume the normal Ultra Swank postings soon with more lifestyle and design adventures. Just need the time to gather and sort some new material first. If you have any interesting postcards or anything similar that you would like to share, do what one of my readers did, send it to me and I will post them here. I also have two upcoming compilations in the works which will be very different from my other compilations. The first features slow, melancholic strings and echoing trumpets for lovers only. The second is all about moody pop music from the late 60s, early 70s. Perfect for a rainy sunday.
