Over the years, the martini has become one of the best-known mixed alcoholic beverages. H. L. Mencken called the martini “the only American invention as perfect as the sonnet” and E. B. White called it “the elixir of quietude”.

    Tin signs are a lot of fun. Someone could make a small fortune with customizable tin signs. I definitely would like one for my Telstar Lounge.

    Lately, I’ve been making dirty martinis with a little different twist. Instead of olive juice, I’ve been adding about one teaspoonful of the juice from a jar of yellow pepper rings and then topping with your usual gin and vermouth (no vodka martinis for me. I want to taste it.)This recipe gives you a little tang and a little different flavor and is now my favorite. Try it.
