My dad received one of these albums during an employee get together to promote the “New Eastern”. It was held at the Dade County Auditorium in Miami sometime during the mid sixties. I was a teenager then and he took me along. All the big wigs were there praising the new direction the airline was headed and getting the guys and gals pumped up for bigger and better things. Amazing to hear these cuts again after so many decades. Good work and thanks.

Thank you so much for the music files as well as the jacket photos!! A couple days ago, a friend of mine played the record for me and I was so impressed with the beautiful pieces. I’m in Japan and had no chance to fly with Eastern but reading many posts here, I knew how much American people love the airline. Thanks again for the upload.

Love this. Did track 7 get cut from the upload? I flew Eastern a few times in the 80s, so this brings back memories.

You don’t have to download any toolbar, just enter the three letters and wait for 45 seconds for the download button to appear. Click on it and your download should start automatically. Just tried it my self and it’s working.

this is a such remarkable find! The link works perfectly, thank you, but does anyone (Chris or anyone else) know what happened to track #7? It is listed on the original album art as “music to fly Eastern by”, but isn’t in the file. Thanks again for this marvelous gem!

Excellent stuff! I loved Eastern Airlines as well. They flew a lot of the Boeing 727 Whisperjets, which were the coolest planes around.

Nothing wrong with the download link. You first have to enter the characters you see in the box and press ok and then wait for 45 seconds for the download link to appear (there is a ticker telling how long you have waited).

Yeah only the female actors since the hunk (don’t quote me on that) Don Draper wasn’t there hehe. Nah seriously would have been cool seeing some photos from the whole event, maybe next time eh? :)

The weather down here is really depressing right now, snow has melted finally but the landscapes look incredibly boring. Will try and get a couple of decent photos though. Can’t wait for summer!

Aww, that’s too bad really. Wouldn’t mind seeing some photos of Peggy or any of the other female actors. Anyways, I am here in Skåne now. Guess that means I shouldn’t take any photos here ’cause you didn’t huh? *jokingly*
