Halmstad in the 1960s

Looks like I am stuck in the 1960s. I found some nice photos of how the city of Halmstad looked back then.

Halmstad is located on the southern westcoast of Sweden and is famous for its beaches, golf courses and tourists during the summers.

Christopher founded Ultra Swank in 2005. Has a crush on mid-century graphic design, defunct airlines, Disneyland and the Century 21 Exposition. Is a collector of easy listening music from the 60s and 70s and a Swedish expat living in Barcelona, Spain.

    Well it’s only the tree next too the fountain what is different on this picture what i can see.

  • From what I can remember of Halmstad – there are also the buses which parked on the other side of the square as you can see on the postcard and the big coffee shop (konditori) were Åhléns is now located depicted on the postcard below.
