Design The TV show Mad Men om AMC sets a high standard for designer aficionados and gives endless opportunities to pick up inspiration for designers, illustrators and animators. For the season six premiere, Cape Town-based agency Radio came up with a series of three vintage inspired Mad Men posters that feature Don, Roger and Joan in settings that resemble the works of Saul Bass. Television The newest season of AMC’s period drama Mad Men is back and what better way to celebrate its return than to throw a swank party with all your favorite Mad Men characters. The promotional black and white photo set is right out of a 1960s photo book and everyone looks to be in good spirits, spite of Lane Pryce (Jared Harris) death. Series creator Matthew Weiner is reluctant to give any details about Don Drapers upcoming journey and the questions left by the season 5 finale. Inspiration Photographer Brittany McLaren sends us “South for Winter” with this Mad Men’esque inspired 1960s styled photo shoot. I love the melancholy and somewhat cold feeling this set gives me, not reminiscent of Mad Man Don Draper’s relationship with his ex-wife Betty.
