For all those photographers out there, the time has come. A high-end retro camera is in your near future. The Fujifilm FinePix X100 not only has a beautiful retro design, it also contains classic features that many will appreciate. It will sport a hybrid view-finder, which will have a window-type “bright frame” optical viewfinder similar to classic 135-size cameras incorporated with an electronic viewfinder system.
The proportions of a fixed high-performance 23mm large F2 aperture lens fashions nicely with the camera body. The 12.3 Megapixel sensor and processor, and ISO range of 100 to 6400 will perform like many DSLR cameras but in a more beautiful compact size. It will even shoot HD movies, too! And yes, it will capture 12-bit RAW images (for those who want that extra image control and adjustments).
The FinePix X100 digital camera will be available in March 2011, and will have a suggested retail price at $1,199.95.

Karminsky Experience Inc. is best known for creating middle eastern influenced Electronica music. But his more recent album, Snapshot (2007), has a radical retro lounge theme. While listening to Snapshot, a mixture of library, beach, and jazz music transforms into wonderful melodies. Animated trailer for Andrew O’Hagan’s new novel ‘The Life and Opinions of Maf the Dog and of his Friend Marilyn Monroe‘. Maf the dog was Marilyn’s constant companion for the last two years of her life. Through the eyes of Maf were provided with an insight into the life of Monroe herself, and a fascinating take on one of the most extraordinary periods of the twentieth century. Since Christmas is almost upon us, I thought it would be a great idea to share a special Christmas compilation with you fine folks. This is a custom made compilation made for this blog. The compilation features 25 songs, one for each day until Christmas day. The theme is as the title of the compilation suggests, Christmas related songs from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s.
