Swinging London Comes Alive

“Where are you lovely ladies heading out tonight?”

London, England, late 1960s. The height of the flower-power-free-love-lifestyle. Groovy colours, fashion, cars and happening parties. Welcome to Swinging London.

For all of us who were born a few decades too late or anyone who wants to take a stroll down memory lane, here’s a sample of very neat color photographs of “Swinging London” from that period.

Depicted are among others Oxford Street, Piccadilly Circus, Carnaby Street, Paddington Street, various cars and classic London-esque Routemaster Buses.
